SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Iron
- Cutting Board & X-Acto Knife
- Cricut, Everyday Iron-On, 12" x 24", Black, 1
- Tee Shirt
- Liquid Dye, Tangerine and Daffodil Yellow, 1 each
DIRECTIONS:
- Follow manufacturer's directions to dye tee, or use an orange tee. Place yellow dye in bath first adding tangerine to desired mix. Wash and dry tee.
- Cut Iron-On transfer into irregular length and width strips. Taper ends of strips. Vary width from 3/4" to 1/4". Tape the paper, satin side up, to a cutting board to reduce slipping.
- Start applying widest stripes at the bottom edge of the tee. Line up stripes parallel to bottom edge. Work all the way around the shirt body.
- Lay tee on a flat surface with sleeves flat. Add thin stripes to sleeves starting from stripes on body of shirt and angle up at an approximate 45 degree angle toward the center of the sleeve. Open the sleeve to show the center of the sleeve. Add small, thin curves to visually connect the stripes on the front of the tee to those on the back of the tee.
