Made with water-reactive dye and pigment ink, it creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water. You can blend it using ink blending tools and foam, sold separately. The pack contains one ink pad with acid-free, non-toxic ink.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rare issue I love all the Tim Holtz inks. However, I bought the Ripe Peraimmon oxide pad and the lid was fused shut. Obviously a manufacturing issue but Joann sent it separately from the rest of my order and the label said Returns Dept. I don’t mind that in itself, but I’d say that’s why this item was returned. I tried to open it and the lid broke and now will let air in and dry out the pad, so it needs to be replaced or returned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I wanted a 3"X3" pad, this is not that size The 3"X3" dimension is for the plastic base, not the pad itself. The pad is approximately 2.4"X2.4". I will be returning it, because I need a larger pad.
