Inks bought in store were a better quality then those bought online.

Fantastic!
I use this in some of my new artwork and it's wonderful. One of its features is that it's slightly translucent so you can layer or shine light through it beautifully. The only thing I don't love about it is that is is kind of hard to make the product archival. I notice that weeks after I do a project the ink can still be slightly damp or rub off.

As expected!
I ordered this product because it is hard to find in my area, the sale price was an added bonus. I placed my order on line, it came in the mail about a week later, easy peasy, just as I expected.

Love my new Alcohol Ink Colors
Ordered several new Tim Holtz Ranger alcohol ink colors. JoAnn had great sale and I stocked. As I teach Alcohol ink art classes this was a great time to stock up. I also let my students know JoAnn had great sales on inks.

Fun to use
I purchased every color I could get my hands on and made some amazing tile Christmas ornaments by dropping these inks on them. They blended together very nice and made some amazing color combinations. So easy to use. So happy with my purchase.

Arrived with green ink all inside the plastice bag

Fun to use!

Congratulations for carrying more Alcohol Inks
The Adirondack alcohol ink colors that I bought from you in this order are individual inks that are not carried in your stores as part of Adirondack sets. I like the fact that I can now order them on line from you individually. You previously did not carry Pinata alcohol inks and now do. That makes me happy and I do not have to go to another vendor to get them. Keep carrying individual inks on line, both Adirondack and Pinata!

What fun!
My mom gave me the first bottles and I was hooked! Some colors blend much better than others; when combining colors, you might have to experiment a bit. The single bottle colors online are more expensive than the trios in the store but I like picking out only the colors I want.

Beware of the mixatives
The alcohol inks have been a revaluation to me, and i really enjoy them. Unfortunately, i cannot compare them to another brand, as they are hard to find as is...
My complains: some are thicker than others, so their spread is a bit uneven. Also, the mixatives are not very reliable, especially the pearl one. Instead of staying on top, it dilutes the paints no matter how well one shakes it.

Fun but some colors are weak
I've bought the Adirondack alcohol inks before and they do come in a great variety of colors. That said, they are pale in compare to Pinata brand... Of course one can use both and I do. I ordered three of the colors I use most often when I was ordering the suggested paper. I was told that the alcohol inks worked better on the Tim Holtz paper (shiny side) than ordinary photo paper. Not a great deal better. But I was pleased with the paper's sturdiness... after coloring several papers I use a pattern to cut out shapes, butterflies in this case, and then glue them back to back. The sturdiness comes in when I manipulate the paper while the glue is still wet to give my butterfly a more natural shape. So, overall I am pleased.

Love the colors
I wanted to try some art that was abstract and not as easy to control as acrylics or oils. Alcohol inks work best on non-absorbent materials, so instead of using them on paper, use them on Yupo, aluminum foil, tiles, or glass.
With a little practice, I was creating some nice abstracts. I made postcards out of Yupo (polypropolene) and loved the bright, clear colors that Adirondack has. They also coordinate (by name) with other products.
The photo is one of the abstract postcards I made.
