Search for what you want!
I sea searched for a purple tomato pincushion and had several items come up. If it says ASSORTED you are not picking the color as several are actually included in the listing. I found the one that was ONLY offered as purple and I'm very happy with it. I also read the description so I knew the size in advance. Win - win!!

Blue!! Not red like photo.
I read the reviews and thought "Oh they must have all accidentally got the wrong color right? Surely if they're advertising a red pin cushion here, I'll receive a red one and the reviews are flukes...". NOPE. Received a blue pin cushion just as others have posted photos of.
I repeat. THIS IS A BLUE PIN CUSHION. If you're looking for the classic red one, you'll have to look elsewhere.
2 star not just because of the wrong color, but it's also super terrible quality and doesn't even sit remotely flat. I mean. I guess it gets the job done for the cheap price?

Wrong color
From the picture, I expected to receive a red pincushion which I wanted. Red would be easier to see and I have fond memories of growing up with a red one. I received a blue one. I am sure it will work fine but am disappointed with the color for myself.

Purple Cushion
I received this product recently, and it does its job! Good for the price. The only thing is I ordered what I assumed was red and it came as more of an eggplant purple, doesn’t bother me though I like the color.

Not Satisfied
I purchased this online to pickup in the store. I was expecting a tomato red pin cushion like my mom has had since probably the 70s. What I got was blue and the quality isn't good. I guess I shouldn't expect much from something that's just a few dollars, but this is getting returned. They sure picked a nice looking photo to represent this item.
