It was on sale for $10.99 a yard which is what I paid for all the rest I bought.

My project was for a screened porch, so I probably didn't need outdoor fabric, but in the long run it will be better. Very happy with my purchase. I have lot's of extra fabric to do some other projects. I purchased 4 yards, that was too much...but two yards would not have been enough.
