SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Assorted Holiday Floral (Amount Varies Based on Length of Garland)
- Green Floral Tape
- Green Paddle Wire
- Wire Cutters
DIRECTIONS:
- With the wire cutters cut most stems to be about 12-16" in length.
- Lay out floral in desired order. Lay the first floral stem down and then lay the next one overlapping the base of the first stem. Wrap the two together with floral tape.
- Continue adding stems in this manner, alternating the positioning of the bloom- left, center, right and then repeat.
- If trying to achieve an ombre effect, gradually introduce the next color of the floral as the garland transitions.
- Once you have completed the garland, go back, and wrap it with the paddle green wire to make it sturdy to stay together.
- Construct in 8-10 foot sections to make the garland easier to manage.
- Once you get to the end of a section, trim or fold the last stems close to the bloom. Add a small loop with floral wire to the end of each section. When installing the garland on a tree or mantle, these loops can be connected with a chenille stem.
