DIRECTIONS:

    NOTES:
Wrap is made from 88 triangles; 22 each of 4 different colors.
Triangles are worked in joined rounds with Right Side facing at all times.
A "join-as-you-go" technique is used to join the triangles together.
Triangles are joined when Round 5 (joining round) is worked.
Triangles can be worked in any order desired. Refer to the assembly diagram, for the color of each triangle and arrangement of triangles, before beginning Round 5.

Triangle wrap measures about 15" wide x 36" long (to fit 18"x 18" pillow form)

SPECIAL STITCH triangle-join = Ch 1, slip st in corresponding corner ch-3 space of neighboring triangle(s), ch 1.

    FIRST TRIANGLE
With A, ch 6; join with slip st in first ch to form a ring.
Round 1 (Right Side): Ch 6 (counts as dc, ch 3), [5 dc in ring, ch 3] 2 times, 4 dc in ring; join with slip st in 3rd ch of beginning ch—Three 5-dc groups and 3 ch-3 spaces.
Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), (2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr) in first ch-3 space (corner made), *dc in next 5 dc, (2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr) in next ch-3 space; repeat from * once more, dc in last 4 dc; join with slip st in top of beginning ch—3 corners and 5 dc across each side.
Round 3: Ch 3, *dc in each st to next corner ch-3 space, (2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr) in corner ch-3 space; repeat from * 2 more times, dc in each st to end of round; join with slip st in top of beginning ch—3 corners and 9 dc across each side.
Round 4: Repeat Round 3—3 corners and 13 dc across each side.
Round 5: Repeat Round 3—3 corners and 17 dc across each side. Fasten off and weave in ends.

    SECOND AND ALL REMAINING TRIANGLES
Refer to assembly diagram for thread color.
Work same as First Triangle to Round 5.
Refer to assembly diagram for placement of triangle. Identify the neighboring triangles to which this triangle should be joined. Take care to join last row of triangles to first row of triangles. While working Round 5, work (2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr) in corners that do not need to be joined to corners of neighboring triangles, and work (2 tr, triangle-join, 2 tr) in corners that need to be joined to corners of neighboring triangles. See "Special Stitch" for explanation of triangle-join.
Round 5 (joining round): Ch 3, *dc in each st to next corner ch-3 space, (2 tr, ch 3 OR triangle-join, 2 tr) in corner ch-3 space; repeat from * 2 more times, dc in each st to end of round; join with slip st in top of beginning ch—3 corners and 17 dc across each side.
Fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat until all triangles have been made and joined.

    FINISHING
Weave in ends. Steam block triangles to lay flat. Insert pillow.
Edging: Join D with slip st in the unattached corner of one of the D-colored triangles (see assembly diagram), working around the side edge of the wrap, *ch 40, slip st in unattached corner of next triangle; repeat from * around pillow; join with slip st in first st. Fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat edging on other side. The edging firms up the edges and keeps the outer edge triangles from flipping.
