Tulip One-Step Custom Color Free Form T-shirt

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Tulip One-Step Fabric Dye Kit: Turquoise, Blue, Red, or Fuchsia
• Extra plastic bottles for mixing dye dilutions
• White 100% natural fiber T-shirt
• Disposable plastic surface cover
• Washer/dryer

DIRECTIONS:

1. Wash shirt and leave damp. Lay out flat on covered work surface and smooth out wrinkles.
2. Mix One-Step Dyes according to package directions.
3. Pour a small amount of each color into mixing bottles. Add water or dye to each until desired light shade of color is achieved.
4. Pour dye colors directly onto shirt, in desired free-form shape, leaving small areas of white between colors.
5. Use diluted dyes to blend and accent darker colors.
6. Leave shirt to set for time suggested in package instructions or overnight.
7. Rinse shirt under running water to remove excess dye.
8. Wash and dry shirt as fabric requires.

Tulip One-Step Custom Color T-shirt Hunter Green

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Tulip One-Step Fabric Dye: Black, Green
• White 100% natural fiber T-shirt
• Disposable plastic surface cover
• Washer/dryer

DIRECTIONS:

1. Wash shirt and leave damp. Lay out on covered work surface and smooth out wrinkles.
2. Pinch corner of shirt hem between thumb and forefinger and pull into a tube shape. Secure rubber bands along shirt until desired number of sections are achieved.
3. Mix One-Step Dyes according to package instructions. Mix a small amount of Green into the Black until desired shade of Hunter Green is achieved.
4. Apply to tied sections of shirt.
5. Cover dyed shirt with plastic and allow to set for time suggested in package instructions or overnight.
6. Remove bands and rinse shirt under running water to remove excess dye.
7. Wash and dry shirt as fabric requires.

Tulip One-Step Custom Color Tie Dye T-shirt Mustard

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Tulip One-Step Tie Dye: Yellow, Orange, and Black
• White 100% natural fiber T-shirt
• Disposable plastic surface cover
• Washer/dryer

DIRECTIONS:

1. Wash shirt and leave damp. Lay out on covered work surface and smooth out wrinkles.
2. Pinch shoulder of shirt between thumb and forefinger and pull into a tube shape. Bind with rubber bands in sections from shoulder downward to about waist level. Leave remainder of shirt unbound.
3. Mix One-Step Dyes according to package instructions.
4. Pour a few drops each of Orange and Black into Yellow, until desired “Mustard" shade is achieved.
5. Apply mixed dye to tied sections of shirt, leaving body of shirt undyed.
6. Cover shirt with plastic, and allow to set for time suggested on package or overnight.
7. Remove bands from shirt and rinse under running water to remove excess dye.
8. Wash and dry shirt as fabric requires.
