How To Get It
Bring home the Dritz Ultimate Magnetic Pin Caddy with Ball Pins and use it to store all of your pins. The top half of this caddy is a magnetic dish that is designed with a groove in the center to easily grasp pins without getting poked. Covering it is a transparent lid with a slot for pins to be slid through without having to remove the cover and can be nested under the caddy when not in use. A removable clear plastic bottom half can be used to store extra pins and needles. This caddy comes with a flip-top lid and four non-skid pads on the bottom and measures 4.25 x 2.87 x 1.75 inches. 15 ball pins are also included in this pack.

Perfect pin magnet
I love this magnetic pin holder. This is my second one; i need one at my sewing machine and ironing board. The sleek oval shape is perfect on my ironing board and edge of my sewing table. And the cover is often useful.

Handy Magnetic Pin Holder
I have a flat square magnetic pin caddy already but the groove in the center of this one really makes a difference! It's so much easier to pick up the pins, one at a time. When you're in the middle of a project, you don't want to struggle to pick up a pin. So this is a great feature.
The storage compartment on the bottom is handy as well for storing your extra pins. A must-have for me.

WORKS GREAT!
I have tremors and fine motor deficits, so this pin holder is a must for me. It keeps the pind aligned and high enough off the table surface so I can grab pins with less difficulty. I took off 1 star for the extremely high price. Can purchase elsewhere for much less; same brand. Must use 40% coupon to buy from Joann.

Duh! What took you so long?
I have been avoiding buying one of these for years because I thought they were “too pricey.” I encouraged my young student to get one because pins all over the place was becoming an issue. Then I decided that if my student should have one, so should I. I love this caddy and am embarrassed that I waited to so long to buy one. Of course, I purchased it on sale.

Great gift, if you can let it go.
I bought this item for my granddaughter's sewing kit . This is a great gift that she will find extremely useful. I love that is compact, but holds a lot of pins. The magnetic feature is great, useful in case you spill pins. Just place it over the area and up come the pins.

Awesome tool!

My sewing machine's best friend
After seeing this pin caddy reviewed on a quilting video, I realized it would replace several pincushions and cases on my sewing table. I moved the companion pins to another magnetic pin caddy (round and large) and put some of my favorite (smaller and heat resistant) pins on the top of this one and the remainder in the bottom caddy. I LOVE that it has a cover on both top and bottom, and the oval shape is narrow enough to fit next to my sewing machine at all times. It is the best I've ever used, and I definitely recommend it.

A great improvement
I bought this to go with the sewing machine I got my granddaughter for Christmas. I have an older model, but I bought this one for the fact it has a lid, what a great idea. I have found if you drop or knock over the older model, they still can fall off even though it is magnetized. The lid is an added bonus in preventing this. Almost makes me want to buy a new one for myself.

Perfect magnetic pin caddy has storage area and a lid. Really holds on to pins and if you just happen to drop your pins you can pick them up with the magnetic base. It also has a cover if you decide not to put pins back in storage area so it keeps everything together.

It was VERY difficult to open the bottom tray, so difficult that one of the plastic clips broke off. The magnetized portion of the pin caddy works fine and I am happy with that.
