SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/2yd Special Occasion Sequin Fabric
- Button Down Shirt
- 1 pkg Double Width Seam Binding in Matching Color
- Tracing Paper or Pattern Making Paper
- Basic Sewing Supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- With tracing paper, trace along front of shirt, collar and shoulder seam.
- Continue down front of shirt the width you would like your panels to be.
- Cut out sequin fabric.
- Pin and stitch seam binding around the entire front panel that will be on the button side.
- For the side with the button holes, there is a flap that the panel can slightly go under, so do not sew the binding on that side. Just stitch the binding on to the remaining sides.
- For the side with the button holes, place the panel close to the flap, pin and stitch all around close to the original stitching of binding.
- Pin the opposite panel close to buttons and stitch all around panel.
