Valentine Resin Wine Cup

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Wine Hydration Cup
• We Tumbler Machine
• I Heart Resin, 1 Large Container of Each (hardener and resin)
• Painter's Tape
• Plastic Gloves
• Mixing Containers
• Mod Podge
• Popsicle Sticks
• Paper Towels
• Fine Grit Sandpaper
• Heat Gun
• X-Acto Knife
• Acrylic Clear Spray Paint
• Heart Stickers
• White Spray Paint
• White Glitter

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mask off the top and bottom edge of the tumbler.
2. Spray paint the cup with white paint. Let dry completely.
3. Apply the Mod podge to the tumbler working in small areas. Sprinkle the white glitter onto the wet glue area. Repeat this until the tumble is completely covered with white glitter. Let it dry for at least 2 hours. Apply Mod Podge again at the bottom of the tumbler and then sprinkle the glitter onto the tumbler. Let it dry for an additional 2 hours.
4. Spray the tumbler with the acrylic spray and let it dry.
5. Place the tumbler onto the tumbler turner. Make sure it is balanced before mixing the resin.
6. Mix the resin according to the package instructions. Put a thin layer of resin onto the tumbler.
7. Let it spin for 8-12 hours. Remove the tumbler carefully, not to put fingerprints on it. Use the sandpaper to remove any bumps from the glitter on the tumbler. Sand it smooth.
8. Place your heart stickers randomly around the tumbler.
9. Place the tumbler back on the machine and apply another layer of resin. Let it spin for 8-12 hours. Remove off of the tumbler and trim off any excess resin around the top of the tumbler with your x-acto knife.
