Perfect for quick project ideas

Great for multiple different projects but if you're looking to make one sculpt multiple times this wouldn't be the pack for you. They're small pieces, so storing them is easy. Largest pieces are about 4"x1"x1.5".
Basswood takes more effort to work than balsa but holds detail without as much splintering which is a worthy tradeoff in my opinion.
