I love this tool!!!!
This tool is so versatile and perfect for beginners. Unfortunately, one of the points got stuck in the first tool I bought. I contacted Walnut Hollow and they sent me a replacement tool right away. Great customer service! Now I know to wait to remove the points until they are cool and inserting them when the tool is cool. I am so happy with how this tool performs. Highly recommend!

For the price this item isn’t bad. It does a fairly good job. For a better looking job you would have to purchase a higher end kit which can run well over 150 dollars.

Pliers NOT included; cant remove tips!!!
I bought this for a trip to a remote cabin as a fun little hobby to throw myself in. When I got out there I discovered that changing out the tips was impossible without pliers, which are not provided. I reread the instructions x2 and there are no instructions about how to exchange the tops. I tried to get help on Walnut Hollow social media and felt like I got a little passive-agressive shade.

Perfect for a beginner.
I bought this about a week ago because I was interested in trying out woodburning. For the value (I used a 40% off coupon), it was the best purchase I'd made in a long time. The variety of tips, the temperature control, and the rubber grip make this tool a much smarter buy than the basic option that comes in the starter kit. I am not a highly creative person but this tool has allowed me to dive into this hobby with ease.

Get it for the temp control!
This Walnut Hollow versa wood burning tool is great for a beginner like myself. New to wood-burning I wrestled for days whether to pay the additional cost for the temperature control and so glad I bought this model. By no means am i a pro and this meets all my needs and does great job as I am still learning the craft. It comes at a great price too especially using a coupon. There are tons of wood burning tools out there of different prices but after several weeks of reading/reviewing there is no doubt I made the correct purchase.

Very effective tool
I bought this product after struggling to carve a design on a particularly difficult piece of wood. It turned out so much better than using a carving tool. The end product is so much more rewarding and I get a lot of compliments on my work.

Excellent product
I bought this product 2 months ago and made 7 different Christmas gifts and couldn't be happier of how well they turned out i love that it has a dial to adjust the heat and a carry case with extra tips the rubber grip is nice and makes it easier to hold I love my wood burner the price was right for this so worth it!!
