THIS PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE
I've happily used this product for years, both professionally and personally -- I'm a Master Designer with more than fifty years' experience in designing and creating wedding gowns, eveningwear, dance/performance costumes, home dec projects, crafts, and fashion clothing. "Wonder Tape" has been a time-saving favorite for every type of project.
Unfortunately, the last thirteen rolls I purchased had to be returned...the tape no longer works properly (the paper won't release the adhesive onto the fabric). A quick check on the internet shows many other users have been having the same problem with their rolls of "Wonder Tape."
Please, Dritz, fix this problem!

Go ahead and buy the biggest pack you can find (this one) because you can use it to hold everything: zippers, quilt binding, tricky seams, etc. It works great, washes out, and doesn't seem to gum up the sewing machine.

Poor Packaging
I have no complaints about the product the packaging was disappointing. As far as I can tell what I ordered was wash away wonder tape, however, considering the only thing I received in the package was 2 rolls of "wonder tape" (?) and not the package that it is supposed to be in. Since I have used this in the past it looks and feels like the wonder tape. I don't think I will order online again from Joann's.

This works great for putting a hem in place prior to cover stitching to make sure the fabric doesn't shift out of place.

Wonderful Wonder Tape
I loved wonder tape! It helped me piece together some very sharp curves in a quilt and it looks terrific. I don’t know how I ever sewed curves without it!
