      _x000D_
    1. To alter the project, use Preview panel to arrange pieces. Ensure pieces are within an 11"x 11" (27.9 cm x 27.9 cm) area, oriented to the top left corner of the mat.
    2. _x000D_
    3. For best results, arrange the inside and outside whale shaped pieces with the grain opposite each other for extra strength.

    1. Apply the iron-on eyes to the outside whale pieces using a Cricut EasyPress and Cricut EasyPress Mat with our Heat Transfer Guide for the perfect time and temp settings.
    2. _x000D_
    3. Arrange the pieces and familiarize yourself with which ones fit together where.
    4. _x000D_
    5. Brush glue onto the main whale piece, then attach the inside piece to it so the cutouts face each other when both pieces are done. Wipe off any excess glue from the edges.
    6. _x000D_
    7. Place the now double-thick whale pieces between two pieces of wax paper, then clamp or place in a press to dry.
    8. _x000D_
    9. Trim the tear-strip to the width of smaller wood connector piece and center. Glue the tear strip in place with the tacky glue, leaving the sharp edge slightly above the edge of the connector piece.
    10. _x000D_
    11. Glue the reinforcement pieces on either side of the connector piece. Use a clamp or press to secure in place while it dries.
    12. _x000D_
    13. Run a bead down the slots for the connector pieces. Slide the connector pieces into the slots, then press the two sides together. The fit will be snug.
    14. _x000D_
    15. Clean off any excess glue before it dries. Sand if needed.
    16. _x000D_
    17. Assemble the tape cross piece and insert into the tape.
    18. _x000D_
    19. Slide the tape into the tape holder in the rounded slots.
