White Flannel
I do not know why some people did not like this flannel. It is soft and of good quality. I am using it between layers in a table cloth and table runner. I picked it up today and washed it in cool water, then dried on low in the dryer. It came out great. I did a quick iron and cut it to fit the tablecloth I am making and a table runner. I plan on buying it again to use in table runners and other tablecloths.

Disappointed
I ordered 4 yards for my quilt and disappointingly it came in 2 pieces 2 yards each. If I wanted a seam I could have not bothered with 108 wide fabric. :(

DIDN’T BRING TO MY CAR
The website and app both say you can order ahead and have it brought to your car. You can’t. I checked in w/ the app, then called the store after waiting outside for 15 minutes (no one answered). Finally I went inside and found my order waiting on a counter. There were about 25 people in line so I don’t think anyone would have ever come out w/ my order. I completely understand being swamped (especially during the holidays)! Just don’t say that you’ll bring orders out, and leave people waiting indefinitely, if you can’t actually do it!

Shrinkage calculations (width 0, length 4.6%)
I laundered a full width of 108 inches of this flannel cut to a length of 27 inches. After washing and ironing the width was down to 107 1/2 and the length had shrunk to 25 3/4 inches. Calculating the length shrinkage of 1 1/4 inch over 27 inches, I result in a loss of 4.6%. My order of 12 yards arrived in 3 different length, cut somewhat arbitrary, forcing me to have seams where I didn't want them. The material is a normal weight flannel neither very thin nor heavy.

Very Satisfactory
I bought this flannel in white to use as quilt backing. I machine washed and dried the flannel on warm (I'm giving these quilts away so I wanted to pretreat this fabric in the same way as the batting and top) and it's still soft and cozy and has NO pills. It's a nice weight -- not too thin nor too thick to quilt up nicely.

Awful!
I purchased this to cover my quilt design wall. This is absolutely the worst quality flannel I have ever seen. It is so thin and so coarse you can practically count the threads with the naked eye..I ordered this online so I didn’t have a chance to feel it in person first, unfortunately.

Very Poor Quality
I bought 3 yards each of black, navy and red. I bought it to use for the backing of blankets, It was a total waste of money. It looks very cheap and the quality is very poor. I am disappointed Joanns carries such a inferior fabric.

Horrible quality
This flannel is AWFUL. It pills like crazy after just one wash and gets really rough and scratchy. I bought it to use as quilt backing but I can’t imagine trying to snuggle up to this fabric. Will never buy again.
