- 4 1/2" of Plush Fur Fabric
- 2 Hand Full of Stuffing for Ears and Tail

DIRECTIONS:
NOTE: Use 1/4" seam on pattern.- Cut out and follow pattern instructions for leotard.
- Covered Headband: Trace top and underneath outline of headband plus 1/4" seam allowance.
- Cut headband out of leopard print making sure the stretch goes lengthwise. Sew the length of headband. Thread headband through the opening bottom. Stretch fabric slightly after headband is inserted, cut off any excess. Hand stitch openings closed.
- Ears: Cut 4 1/2" width X 4 1/2" length triangle, 2 out of leopard and 2 out of plush fur (save plush fur for tail). Sew fur plush and leopard right sides together, turn. Sew a 1/2" dart into the plush fur so that the ear will be slightly forward. Stuff with a small amount of stuffing. Hand stitch to headband.
- Tail: Cut tail 15 1/2" long x 5 1/2" wide. Cut a scrap of plush fur 4 1/2" wide X 3" long. Fold leopard plush in half, sew to bottom of tail. Sew up the long edge of tail, turn right side out and stuff. Sew tail to the center back connecting to skirt.
JOANN HACKS:
- Use a #14 needle when sewing layers.
- Cut fabric with the pile going down.
- Serging seams or a large zig zag will help the seams from breaking.
