SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Floral tape
  • Floral cutters or snips
  • Hot glue gun/glue sticks
  • 2 eucalyptus stems, green
  • 2 green/white fern
  • 4 lavender stem, white
  • 2 lavender tall bush, purple
  • 6 heather pick, pink
  • 1 tall lavender bush, white
  • Wired burlap ribbon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Begin by taping together one eucalyptus stem and one fern stem. Let the fern fall naturally and place the eucalyptus stem in the middle. Tape together using floral tape.
  2. Add a white lavender stem to the taped greens. Separate the white lavender flowers into two stems of flowers by cutting the middle section out and incorporate both stems into the greens.
  3. In the same manner, add a second stem of the white lavender flowers on the opposite side of the first one and incorporate into the bouquet. Tape together.
  4. Add the four stems of the tall purple lavender floral throughout the bouquet. Work them into the bouquet by separating and pulling them through the greens and other floral.
  5. Separate and cut the Eucalyptus stem into sections or clusters. Add to the bouquet to fill in where more greenery is needed.
  6. Add the pink Heather to the bouquet. Do not cut the Heather, but leave these stems in the original bunches as purchased. Place these stems throughout the bouquet and tape together.
  7. Add the last stem of the fern. This stem can be cut and the pieces and used to fill and shape the bouquet. Add a dab of hot glue to the tape to secure it and keep it tightly wrapped.
  8. Wrap a piece of burlap ribbon around the area that the tape is on. Hot glue the ribbon to the bouquet.
  9. Cut a longer length of ribbon. Wrap it around the existing piece of burlap and tie a knot. Add some hot glue underneath the burlap and underneath the knot to secure it in place.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Be sure to tape in the same location on the stems every time you add another piece to the bouquet.
  • If the Heather stems are too short to reach to the top of the bouquet, add stem length by using any leftover stems or pieces from the cut floral. Tape the leftover stem to the Heather and insert into the arrangement.
