Food coloring to the rescue!
Almost everyplace was out of food coloring and thankfully Joann's had some. I had used all of what i had making homemade salt and sugar scrubs for Christmas gifts and ran out when it was time to make frosting for sugar cookies.

Good for decorating
These liquid food colorings behave a little differently than gel, and can water down an icing easily. If you are making a stiff buttercream to pipe decorations, make sure to check the consistency!
