8” Cake pans ftw
Cake pans work great! They are 8” diameter, I used parchment paper and oil around the edges, and the gluten free cake turned out fine. I wouldn’t use this recipe again - but the pans I would!

Must have for layer cakes!
These pans are easy to care for and baked my cakes super evenly. I'd recommend a cake pan cozie to help reduce domed cakes, and the shape of these pans makes it very easy to do so.

Light weight
It's a bit light and tends to cook more on the bottom. It was half price of the heavier pans and since i have the heavier 9" cake pans, I decided to get a less expensive pair which I don't regret.

Boston Creme Birthday Cake
I am pleased with my purchase of two Wilton 8 x2 Baking pans. Wilton 8” pan
Perfect size to makes a special cake for just a few people. Though it may be small in size but still a perfect size for decorating. The Wilton pans cook evenly, living up to the Wilton reputation. My Mom always used Wilton products, that was almost 50 years ago. If they were good for her, then they are perfect, tried, tested and true for me.

Cake sticks to the bottom of the pan despite greasing. Will need to do parchment bottoms in the future. Besides that, cake baked evenly.
