Sensational!
Joined a friend to celebrate his birthday at local upscale restaurant. I provided custom ice cream cake, and these candles, to server, who was kind enough to store until after dinner. He used all candles and they did indeed 'sparkle' as he was walking to our table. As my friend blew out the candles, they (of course) relit :) :) I can only guess the others that have used these candles don't have a clue that their main feature is they relight. And I think why they are taller than 'normal' BD cake candles.

Absolutely horrible!
Bought these for my three year olds birthday cake. The smoke that came off of them was unbelievable and we absolutely could not blow them out. Had to remove the candles from the cake and burned my fingers in the process!!!

They DON'T work!
I bought them for my for my baby's bday cake. I'm so glad I tried them before the actual party, because they don't work!! They light up like a regular candle. At first there was a few little sparks and then nothing. I'm so sad!!!! If you are looking for a candle that doesn't drop gross wax, then this will work great! But not for a sparkler.
Now the mission continues in the search of some good ones!!

HORRIBLE!!! LEFT BLACK SOOT SPECKS ON CAKE!!
I used these on my daughter's 21st Birthday cake. I thought since it was a "Major" Birthday, these candles would be appropriate. Everything was fine until the candles were lit and started "sparkling." Tiny Black specs of "soot" fell all over the cake and it looked nasty!! It was ALL over the cake and could not be scrapped off! I was hesitant to serve the cake, but did so instructing everyone to not eat the outer frosting!!

So upset my father was 80
So upset my father was 80 and thought these candles would be good fun, they didn't sparkle at all and even the 3 year old at the party could blow them out, so much for relighting. complete waste of money. Cant even find e-mail address that works on this site to complain.

Sparkler didn't work at A
Sparkler didn't work at ALL and it embarrassed me in front of all my friends. :( I was so excited to try these sparklers but like most other things it went off without a bang. What a disappointment. The actual anticipation was more exciting than watching it flicker once. I even tried another just incase that one just had a glitch but no dice it did the same thing.
