Witch Mask Costume

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Black headband
• 1" silver tulle
• Piece of embellishment ribbon
• 12" gold tulle with gold little balls on it
• Sheet of black cardstock
• Piece of gold wire
• 3-4 glitter sticker Foamie stars
• 6" piece of thin wire
• Halloween pipe cleaner (orange and black)
• Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
• Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut a small 6" circle out of the black cardstock.
2. Cut another circle that is about 6" inches, but then cut a wide piece of pie wedge out of the circle. Using your hot glue gun, roll the second piece of cardstock into the shape of a cone and glue it. Glue the cone to the top of the 6" black circle to make a witch's hat.
3. Using the different kinds of tulle, cut out about 8 small pieces. Fold them over into kind of a bow. Scrunch the bottom edges together and glue at the base of the cone.
4. Coil the wire around a pencil to make a curled wire. Curl the pipe cleaners as well. Take the wire and the pipe cleaner and glue also at the base of the cone.
5. At this center area where you glued the pipe cleaner, attach some pieces of the embellishment ribbon in a cluster to stand up. Attach the embellishment ribbon also around the top of the cone to finish off the hat.
6. Glue the other stars onto the side of the hat.

CRAFT HACK TIPS & TRICKS:

• Fluff out the embellishments as you glue then in place to make it appear full and airy.
