Everyone loves my Baby Closet !
I bought my wooden crate to make a baby closet for my Niece, and it is so cute! It is very thick and sturdy, and has plenty of room to hold items. I painted it light pink on the inside and hot pink on the outside. I purchased letters from Joann's and painted them light pink as well to match the inside. I also bought a beautiful large rose and a rose arch, both from Joann's to add as decorations to the final look. It's so pretty that I have started to get orders from family and friends and I will be adding them as a regular option to my small business. Thank you Joann's for an awesome craft selection in Jonesboro, Arkansas!

Not solid wood. Flimsy and poor craftsmanship.
I do not understand the good reviews on this. Maybe the quality just went down. I bought these to make a Father's Day present. I ordered online to pick it up at the store. I returned immediately. While the product description says it's solid wood, it's rather a pine, flimsy material. It does not take much to break it or hurt your fingers on it.

i bought these to make my children christmas eve boxes, i painted them & was waiting for them to dry. i touched one of the slats & seriously very lightly dabbed my finger on it & it snapped in half. thought maybe it was just a fluke thing. started painting my third box, went to turn it over & one of the slats cracked @ the staple & a big chunk fell out. i ended up replacing the slats as i last minute was making them the night before xmas eve (oops) & had some extra wood pieces lying around in the garage. really bummed as i thought they were really great price & figured i could use them for future crafts.
