it is a PRE-felt, good for quilting but not strong enough for felt crafts
It is a lovely fabric but too loosely felted for anything else than using it in a quilt blanket or as a base layer for needle felting. Not strong enough for sewing for example and animal out of it.

Extremely overpriced for quality.
I purchased this recently after looking everywhere for 100% wool felt. I was very disappointed in the quality. The fibers are loosely woven and, therefore, cause the felt to not hold up well. I would not recommend this felt.

Great Wool!
This stuff is great! I'll be using it to make felting pads for needle felting. I was expecting it to be greyish cream color but it is just cream (which is fine!) But perhaps a better photo is needed online. Or maybe I just have bad eyeballs :)

I think it will work fine
I just got home with this felt. think it will be fine for my felt projects going to dye it in colors I need someone in reviews said it was not wool they are wrong it wool. I did the flame test just to be sure it is wool It did seem a bit thicker than 1.6mm like most craft weight so i used my flat iron, a regular would work better but flat iron was handy, anyway it flatened out great out so far so good

It's not wool
I've ordered this two times and both times I receive some kind of synthetic material. I own half a dozen wool blankets. I have family members with farms. I know what wool looks like. Either the warehouse keeps mixing up the product or your supplier is lying to you. I've paid $17+ a yard for a product that is listed as $4 in the real listing. I won't purchase anything online that I'm picky about any more.
