Woven Ribbon Gift Wrap

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Flora Satin 1 7/8" Wide Ribbon: navy, blue, white & pink
• Glue
• Tape
• Double-sided tape
• Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
• Pin & pinning surface (cardboard/foam core)
• Craft paper or gift wrap paper

DIRECTIONS:

Large Blue Package
1. Cut strips: 2 white, 2 light blue and 2 navy the length of your package.
2. Wrap one of each color lengthwise and glue or tape to back.
3. Use the remaining three and weave through the first and glue to back.
4. Cut 1 each of the longest measurement and rip into 1/2" pieces.
5. Place these down the center of larger strips and weave, glue in back.

Large Pink Package:
1. Cut strips: 1 pink and 1 white the length of your package.
2. Place to one side of the package and glue in place at back.
3. Cut 2 each of pink and white and rip into different widths.
4. Alternate white and pink in the different widths and weave in place, glue in back.

Small Blue Package:
1. Cut strips: 1 each of navy and blue.
2. Glue one in center the length of box and one the width. Glue in back.
3. Cut blue, white and navy into different widths and weave each across front. Glue in back.

Medium Pink Package:
1. Cut 4 Pink and 1 White strips.
2. Wrap pink on both sides and top and bottom, glue in place in back.
3. Use 1 white strip down middle to back, and glue or tape in place.
4. Cut (6) 1/2" wide strips from pink and (6) 1/2" wide strips from white.
5. Alternate 4 white and 3 pink strips across the front of package. Glue or tape in place.
6. Weave the remaining strips in center of box. Glue in place in back.

Top Bow:
1. Two bows are made and then glued together. 1 has 6 strips and 1 has 10 strips.
2. Cut 10 strips into 1/4" widths.
3. Lightly mark the center of each piece.
4. Lay out 5 strips and attach to cardboard/foam core with pin, just at top of each.
5. Use the remaining 5 strips and weave across center of first 5.
6. The weave will be in center with loose strips forming a plus sign.
7. Glue strips together to hold weave in place.
8. Take two corner pieces and twist slightly in the form of teardrops, and glue tops together. Do this in each corner. (4 teardrops are made and 3 strips between each corner remain.)
9. Take the next 2 strips and twist and glue tops.
10. There will be 1 strip on each side. Make 2 more.
11. Do the same with 6 strips. 3 down first and weave 3 across. Twist corner pieces together.
12. When you have both the 6-piece and the 10-piece finished, place the 6-piece in center and glue together.
