How To Get It
Easily make triangles within squares and divided rectangles using the EZ Quilting Tri-recs Triangle Rulers. The cut-off magic-angle of this tool makes it easy to align and sew accurately. It includes a 6 x 6.75 x 6.75-inch triangle with a 0.25-inch built-in seam allowance and a 6.5 x 3 x 6-inch rectangle with a 0.25-inch built-in seam allowance. Use this tool to cut triangles of many sizes and divided rectangles from even-sized strips of fabric.

Slight learning curve
I really like my Tri-Recs rulers, but there is a slight learning curve especially if you are using directional fabric on the side triangles. You need to remember that you are cutting mirror images and place the fabric right sides together. You also need to be sure of the direction the side triangles lay before you attach them to the center triangle or you will get a strange object. The engineered corners work well. I liked the versatility of being able to cut different sizes with the same ruler. Remember that as a bonus you can use the side triangles and cut split rectangle images.

Just what I needed
Bought this ruler to do I particular quilt pattern. It’s easier than making my own template. I will use it for the Taos block of the month

Easy to use!
I purchased this because Bonnie Hunter uses it in some of her scrap quilts. I'm glad I did- I have so many ideas for this ruler set! It's easy to use.

Terrific tool
I have a huge project underway that uses the 54-40 stars - this ruler set makes cutting and piecing the blocks SO much easier. I've even started a second quilt using the rulers. I'm very very pleased!

Not so great for "one block wonder" blocks...
Misleading product description. I bought this ruler thinking it was a true 60 degree triangle; however, I only succeeded in wasting a lot of fabric, because I was using it to make"one block wonder" blocks for which I need a true 60 degrees.

Great Tool!!
Wonderful way to make the 54-40 or Fight block and many other uses. Too bad some people were misled on being told it was a 60° ruler, but then use it for what it was designed.
