Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wanted to use this to bind the seams of a long silk skirt. I had some flexi-lace on hand from years ago but not enough. The old product is soft and supple. A dream to work with. Must have been polyester. The new product may look the same but its totally, totally not. The nylon is stiff.. It feels coarse and scratchy. Not usable for the inside of the garment's long curving seams. I wouldn't use it on hems if the fabric is supple or delicate. Too bad. I loved using this product before. Won't buy it now.
