very difficult to work with
The pleat hooks pierce through the fabric too easily so that it is all but impossible to use this - and after it has been sewed on to the curtains! WHAT A MESS!

Hard to work with
I found this hard to work with. It did not lay flat and straight across drapery header. It was curved on one side. I had to sew basting stitches on the curve and gather slightly to get the hook pocket to stay vertical as I stitched the curved side to the header. I wouldn't buy it again but would search out a different brand to see if there is one without the curved edge.

Alternative Use to curtains
I didn't use this tape in the traditional way when I made a window valance 9 years ago satisfactorily from a shower curtain. This time I am making a valance out of two table runners which don't fit my round table and were gifts from my son of Aboriginal art from Australia so I definitely wanted to do something with them.

This product has no pockets for curtain hooks
It provides structure for the top of the curtain but offers no place to put curtain hooks. The only solution I found was to sew on each book which is massively time consuming but also restricts ability to wash the curtain.

Very flimsy
I removed the old pleater tape from my old drapes and needed 2 more yards to complete my new drapes. I wanted the regular pleater tape, but this mulit pleater tape is all they had at the JoAnn's near me. I thought it would work, but it just barely does. Where the previous tape was like canvas, this is much flimsier and the pleater hooks go through the sides of the pleats. Very dissatisfied. It MIGHT work for light curtains, but not for heavy drapes.

Wrong item...?
I've been using this for the dozen curtains in my bedroom and it works fine. I don't really intend to launder these drapes so I can't say anything about shrinkage. However, I do think previous reviewers might have this tape confused with another kind, because it is far from flimsy. It's actually quite thick and difficult to get the pins in because of it.
