Useless! I should have read reviews.
I should have read up on this tape first. I purchased in store with the hooks that were on the shelf. The hooks do NOT fit this pleater tape and are completely useless. You would think that joanns would sell the proper hooks along with the tape! Waste of money!

Flimsy, overpriced and poor quality - don't buy it
This the second time I've used pleater tape, so I have some experience with it. The first time in 2018 I used Morainn tape that I bought somewhere else and which was great but you can't find anymore. This Wrights Regular Pleater Tape is overpriced, flimsy, and poorly made. The channels are overly fragile and normal pleater hooks poke right through them, making it hard to even get them in. The channels are also crooked, and the tape has slight curve in it, again making it hard to get the pleater hooks in, and overall you end up with very sloppy looking pleats. Within an hour of hanging my drapes the hooks were already poking through the tape. I wasted a lot of money on this tape, and now I will probably have to rip it all out of my new drapes and start over with another brand purchased somewhere else.

Only for very light weight fabric.
I agree with the other posts that this is not what it used to be. The pins kept poking through the channels and I finally gave up. I'll use it for stiffening in the top of my drapes but will do something other than pleats.

Horrible mistake!
This pleat tape is not usable for anything other than the lightest weight fabric. It's cheap and the pins go right through the guides. I didn't find this out until i had it sewn into my curtains. What a mess! Don't make the same mistake!

Open-bottom pleats too small
This tape was easy to attach, but either the open bottom pinch pleats are too small or the slip-on hooks are too large. My hand cramped trying to force the hooks through the slots. A couple of times the hooks broke through the tape. Once, the slot was irregular and allowed the hook to slide back and forth across the tape. I had to stitch the hook into place.
Overall, it got the job done, but I would hesitate about ever using this product again.

I have used this to replace the header in my pinch pleated drapes.
I does the job at a good price.

Not what it used to be...
Years ago I used this tape on a heavy door wall drape and it worked wonderfully. This time, not so good. The rounded tips of the four-pronged pleater hooks kept poking through the channels as I was inserting them, rather than sliding in easily as before when the fabric had a tighter, denser weave. Upon hanging the drape, the prongs again poked through the fabric and have provided insufficient support to the drape. Very disappointing. A big loss of money and time.

Disappointed
I bought the full roll to get the 50% off, but was disappointed, especially being a Wrights product. It's very soft and flimsy. I anticipated it to be a stiffer/sturdier product. I used anyway, but am disappointed.
