Rated 3 out of 5 by from Xyron stopped making the cartridges we use It works but I purchased the Xyron 900 machine a year ago. Used up the lamanent permanent adhesive back cartridge which we use only to find out now that we need more, they quit producing that cartridge in 9 inch. In fact they dropped 2 of the 7, almost a 1/3 of the cartridges that were available for this machine. Only available in 5 inch now. Which on a 9 inch carrying purchased from Joann's just last week, shows that cartridge as one available for the 900. Xyrons response after contacting them in order to try and buy these cartridges or find someone that sells them, is in short, Sorry, we don't make them anymore, tuff luck. Or you can buy the 5 inch machine or new 9 inch machine which excepts both 9 and 5 inch. Or use double the material/cartridges to get what one use to do. I'm not in a habit of throwing money away let alone buying a product the company discontinues the very part that gets used. I have 20 year old printers that have been discontinued that I can still get the invoice cartridges for or the company offers a substantial discount to upgrade to a newer version so you don't completely loose out on your money. Xyron offers nothing. Just a thank you for giving us you money, tuff luck on that last purchase. The risk is too great that Xyron will change design or discontinue a cartridge material you use to waste spending money on in my opinion. We're looking for an alternative machine now. One with a proven track record, one we can still get refills for years after purchase not just 6 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken product I brought the xyron magnet laminating refill, but didn't use it right away. When I opened the package, the cartridge was broken. Usually, I have positive results. This time, not so much. Next time, I will have the salesperson open the package up before I buy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great adhesive! This is really a great adhesive. I use it to make paper ornaments and letter seals. I try to always have one cartridge in the machine and one on the shelf. My only criticism is the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I have all the Xyrons and don't know what I did before I got them!! On my 900 I use the permanent adhesive and put in 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock and can then attach that to things like foil wrapping paper and cut it with my Cricut - it saves a LOT of money compared to buying the foil cardstock per piece! I only buy the refills with a coupon, so that makes it an even better deal!
