Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- Sewing with Double Brushed Poly: Fabric has four way stretch and should be sewn with stretch or ballpoint needles. Suggested stitches are a stretch stitch, narrow zigzag (width .5 length 3) or straight stitch for topstitching. If skipping occurs, try new needles, adjust pressure or try a different stitch. Press with a pressing cloth and lots of steam.
- When adjusting pant pattern length, cut pattern on adjustment line. Use tissue paper or extra pattern tissue between the pieces and keep the grainline aligned.
- On multi sized patterns, use a highlighter and then cut out the correct size. Press pattern pieces with a dry iron before pinning to fabric.
- Read all directions before starting to sew.
