I did not wash the fabric prior to constructing the quilt as I was in a rush to start on the project and get it done as soon as possible. When i finished the quilt and washed it, I was pleasantly surprised and happy to discover that it not bleed at all! The light yellow and white fabric on the quilt top remained bright and brilliant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really cute fabric First off...I love the print...really stands out. But the fabric seems stiff and when I was ironing it I noticed a smell and wondered if it was 100% cotton. It will still work with my project....just not too sure about quality.
