Yellow Rose Quilted Wall Hanging

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 1/2 yd Yellow Rose Black Background Fabric
• 1/2 yd each Cream, Yellow Floral, Gray, Black and Black with Leaves fabrics
• 1-3/8 yd fabric for backing
• 36" x 47" batting
• Rotary cutter & ruler
• Quilter's square template
• Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

1. Use the template as your guide for fabric placement. To print the template, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above)
1-Black with Leaves
2-Cream
3-Yellow Floral
4-Gray
5-Black
6-Yellow Roses/Black Background

2. Use 1/4" seam allowance. 
3. Enlarge pattern blocks to 8" squares.
4. Cut blocks along lines; add 1/4" seam allowance to each piece.
5. Cut each piece out as shown in diagram.
6. Sew pieces together as shown into 8-1/2" blocks; press.
7. Lay blocks out and sew together into rows; press.
8. Sew rows together; press.
9. Cut 2 pieces 2" x 36" for border.
10. Sew border pieces to top and bottom of quilt.
11. Cut backing and batting slightly larger than quilt top.
12. Layer and quilt as desired.
13. Trim quilt to 1/4" larger than quilt top on all sides.
14. Cut four 3" x WOF binding strips.
15. Bind quilt as desired.
