DIRECTIONS:
- Trim a piece of white cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Fold in half to create card base. Set aside.
- Trim a piece of watercolor paper to 4" x 5 1/4".
- Use an ink blending brush to heavily blend the following inks from top to bottom: Pool Party, Blue Hawaii, Berry Smoothie and Fruit Punch. Flick water droplets on background and blot with paper towel.
- Place the stencil on the panel and secure. Heavily apply Unicorn Pigment Ink over the top of the stencil. Remove stencil, sprinkle on clear embossing powder and heat emboss.
- Once again, use an ink blending brush to heavily blend the following inks from top to bottom: Pool Party, Blue Hawaii, Berry Smoothie and Fruit Punch. Flick water droplets on background and blot with paper towel. Wipe excess ink off embossed areas with a paper towel.
- Adhere the panel to card base with foam adhesive.
- Stamp the Tin of Brushes image on watercolor paper with black ink and trim out with a scissors. Color with Reactive Inks and watercolor paints.
- Use the Gelly Roll Clear Stardust Pen to add sparkly details to the paintbrush heads and dripping paint.
- Stamp the You are Awesome sentiment on a strip of white cardstock with black ink and trim to create banner ends.
- Trim a piece of vellum to 2 1/2" x 3 3/4".
- Adhere the vellum piece followed by the Tin of Brushes and the sentiment to complete the card.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- Adding vellum behind objects on a busy background will help make them stand out more.
- When applying lots of ink and water to paper, be sure to use a quality heavyweight watercolor paper.
