DIRECTIONS:
FOR COLORBLOCK BAG:
  1. Cut two rectangles 10"W x 6"L of the main color fabric.
  2. Cut two rectangles 10"W x 4"L of the second color fabric.

  5. Lay one lining piece right side up and place the zipper on the top edge face up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not enough instructions I have been trying to understand the directions and having no luck. If this is for a beginner then Joann needs to explain it better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Instruction fail I've been sewing for 50 years and I can turn this into a zippered pouch on my own. I can start a fire with the instructions, but they aren't worth much more than that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Need more instructions for beginners If you are a beginner in sewing the instructions are confusing. I went on to the website thinking there would be pictures and/or videos but not tips.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for a beginner This is the second project bag I picked up in my local Joann store. I’ve been equally disappointed in both. The only good thing is getting two fat quarters and a zipper that I can make a zipper pouch but not with your instructions NOR the video. I’ll follow the instructions from another site.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Zipper pouches Picked it up when in store shopping. It is very generous for Joann to supply fabric, zipper and instructions. Received two quarter squares of black, so used on of my own quarter square to add a different color to the upper section. Found putting in zipper this way was helpful. Have sewing experience helped to understand. Pictures would be helpful. Although picture of gray and black pouch did help to explain different sizes to be cut.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Directions Suck The instructions are confusing and I was hoping I could come to the website for more help, but it's the same photo as the back of the paper. Boo

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not clear instructions at all Was looking forward to making my first zippered pouch. The instructions were way too vague, I don't want to even try. Next time, more pictures, and have someone do a rehearsal with your instructions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs better instructions I picked this up today thinking it would be something easy to do. I received 2 fat quarters of the same color gray and instructions for the 2 color bag with a pink zipper. Pictures would have helped a lot. Good thing I know the basics of sewing.
