How To Get It
This Liquitex Gesso surface protector seals, stiffens and provides surface 'tooth' for painting surfaces. It is permanent, non-yellowing, flexible, and water resistant when dry. Use it with oil, acrylic, pastels, and other paint media. Apply it to raw canvas, harboard, paper, wood, and other non-oily porous surfaces. Sand hard, shiny surfaces before applying. Can be tinted with acrylic colors but is not to be mixed with oil paints.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super smooth! I bought this tonight and used it to prep some wood (along with sandpaper) for painting and I couldn’t be more pleased with the consistency. I was worried it would be too thick, but it was very smooth. Not too liquidy either and it only took a couple of squirts to cover a 10x12 wood board with my foam roller. I had to roll it through a few times, but a little went a long way.
