How To Get It

This Liquitex Gesso surface protector seals, stiffens and provides surface 'tooth' for painting surfaces. It is permanent, non-yellowing, flexible, and water resistant when dry. Use it with oil, acrylic, pastels, and other paint media. Apply it to raw canvas, harboard, paper, wood, and other non-oily porous surfaces. Sand hard, shiny surfaces before applying. Can be tinted with acrylic colors but is not to be mixed with oil paints.

Super smooth!I bought this tonight and used it to prep some wood (along with sandpaper) for painting and I couldn’t be more pleased with the consistency. I was worried it would be too thick, but it was very smooth. Not too liquidy either and it only took a couple of squirts to cover a 10x12 wood board with my foam roller. I had to roll it through a few times, but a little went a long way.
