Reliable
I have a few sets in each of my sewing project bags and they have always been reliable. I even cut bits of fabric if need be with no problem.

Needs a blade guard
These are good for cutting yard, but I don't feel comfortable with the exposed blade sitting in my bad. It needs either a blade guard or a way to lock them closed

ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE
I needed a pair of 'traveling scissors' to take to craft shows to work on my creations. The scissors that come with a protective cover were sold out, so I bought this. They clearly DO NOT "cut all the way to the end" as the ad states. Which is what I bought them specifically to do. The packaging makes it impossible to check this out before purchasing. Very disappointing for a Fiskars!

You have to hold this right! Fantastic!
This review is for the snips with the larger opening, not the one with the ring opening. I love this snips, I just discovered that if you insert your middle two fingers inside the opening in the center of the scissors, you literally can work without ever putting this scissors down. I can send my fabric pieces through one after the other snipping them free of the machine and keep the scissors in my hand for close snipping of the threads! Fantastic.
