Absolute garbage, as many have said the shaft just spins in the handle, they should be ashamed of themselves for even stocking this.

This tack remover swivels
I used this tack remover once on a chair seat to lift the staples holding the fabric and the tool swiveled in the handle. The pronged tool can be turned 360 degrees in the handle. The tool itself is sturdy, but does not remain immoveable while you are using it.

Do not purchase for heavy duty tack removal.
We were using this to remove tacks from dining room chairs in order to reupholster them. This broke as we were stripping the second chair of six. The reason it is inexpensive is because it is not meant for heavy duty work.

Tack remover
Don't waste your money on this tool. The metal part spins in the handle. Go to a hardware store and buy one. They are the similar priced and the hardware store one is way better.

you get what you pay for
I am re-upholstering a chair, and picked up this product today, in store. It worked GREAT, for the first 16 tack nails, on the 17th tack the prong snapped in two....so it is now....a great ice pick??

Piece of Junk
Don't waste your time with this tool. I bought this for lifting staples from upholstery. The very first time I used it the shaft spun in the handle, making it completely useless for me. As a result you cannot pry out a staple by twisting. You get what you pay for, I guess.
