Highly recommend.
There are so many different colors that it's easy to match the thread to each quilting fabric. The thread is strong and does not easily break. Highly recommend.

It’s not hoarding when you are using it.
I am gathering materials right now. I am teaching myself to quilt. So I have little guidance, outside of two reference books. I can see I am making progress. Making a quilt is a great deal different from making clothing, or layette items, or curtains. So much fun looking at bolts, and looking at the little “fat quarters” for the quilt in work, and the one in que and more in planning.

decent thread, frays horribly
this is pretty decent thread. i used it for sewing purposes, not embroidery, and it worked fine and made pretty strong seams. only issue is that it frays A LOT. as soon as you cut it, it starts fraying like crazy. other than that, great thread, and 600 yards for only a couple bucks is a steal.
