Shatters on canvas
I’m writing this review mostly to save others from making my mistake. This varnish SHATTERS like glass on top of every canvas I’ve sealed with it. It leaves a weird cracking effect on top of my finished product and destroyed 3 of my acrylic pours. I tried to save them by seeing if the varnish would just flake off but it started taking the paint with it. Go with liquitex, this stuff is garbage.

Awesome affordable product!
I have used this for wooden signs, to help add a smooth surface for vinyl decals and also to glitter the inside of clear plastic ornaments! Love it so, especially the price, plus it's not hard to accrue!

Perfect for quilling projects!
I use this for my quilling projects and it works wonderfully! I used another product and that product left my project looking soapy. Hours of quilling ruined, but with DecoArt I have a nice glossy look that enhances the beauty of my projects!

I bought this for some rock art/kindness rocks gift I was doing. It works very good with paint. Just make sure you check or do a sample with other medium. I had used some permanent markers of the rock art and this varnish will rub the permanent marker ink off. I had to use a (glitter) spray over the permanent marker to set it first before I can use the varnish. Other than that, I didn't have any issues with it. It worked for what I needed it to do. Nice shiny and glossy finished.
