I only use this thread for sewing on binding so it's been along time since I have purchased.
Since then, they apparently have moved production from the US to India, and the quality is not the same. The spool is all misshapen, so the thread gets caught, and the thread itself tangles very easily.

Not the Same Thread
I have been buying they thread for hand quilting for over 10 years. It is coated with something that keeps it from getting tangled while you sew. But the last batch I bought is thinner and get tangled easier than the older spools I have. I can't complain since this thread is so cheap. But don't think you are getting the same thicker thread you used to get.

Inaccurate Blue colors
Ok, first off I LOVE this thread! It's a great quality thread and perfect for hand quilting. I have used it for years in my small Handmade Shop. This thread is a joy to work with, sturdy and durable. I am unable to find it in my local store anymore so I ordered it online this time. There were never this many color choices in-store so I purchased some of every color.
The only problem I have is that the Delft Blue and Navy Blue are pretty much the same color, a beautiful medium blue, but nonetheless the Navy is not a dark blue that I was hoping for. This can make a difference if you are in need of a specific color for a project, like me!
I know every phone/computer screen can show colors slightly different, I just didn't think the two would be so similar in person. I have added pictures that I took in a natural light by a sunny window of side-by-side comparisons. Hopefully they will help someone who is in between color choices!

Excellent hand quilting thread
Excellent hand quilting thread, easy to work with, and doesn't get thin and wore out before I'm done using the piece of thread I've cut from the spool. It's a bit stiff at first which makes it easy to thread on the betweens needles which have very small eyes. I love this tread and would recommend to a friend.

The thread states on the end of the spool that it is for HAND Quilting. That is what it is designed for. It does not work well for other projects. Most people buy it because it only costs .99 cents, but they need to look at what they are buying it for, and that should be HAND quilting.
