Honestly, I wish I picked them up a few years ago when I pick up crochet. They slide in extremely easily. They don't split the yarn (or snag) like the safety pins I tried to use which were a nightmare. I recommend always using one at the start of a round, and now that I have a handful of them, I was able to use them to mark the row ahead for stitches I need to make in every 5th. I used a coupon that I found on Joann's website for 50% off, but now that I've used them, I think they're even worth full price!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2016-10-11</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2016-10-11" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="16361514"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Clover Locking Stitch Marker" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Donna</span> from <span itemprop="name">Locking Stitch Markers for knitting</span> <span itemprop="description">These are the best that I've found. I love using them. They stay where placed and don't fall off once locked. I've used other stitch markers which end up falling off of the stitch - what a pain to use, so I highly recommend these. They come in two sizes - They're awsome.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2008-04-13</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2008-04-13" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="16361516"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Clover Locking Stitch Marker" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">JM</span> from <span itemprop="name">Best stitch markers ever</span> <span itemprop="description">easily used, easily moved. can be used like conventional stitch markers or can be used like a safty pin to mark rows. they can even be used to 'baste' pieces together.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2007-08-20</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2007-08-20" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="167103221"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Clover Locking Stitch Marker" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Jane</span> from <span itemprop="name">Eliminates the hassle of falling off your needles</span> <span itemprop="description">I love these because the ones you put on knitting needles have a tendency to slip off if you're not careful. I put them through stitches each row to mark and then move them instead of having them on my needles. I mark lace beginning and end, you can color-code that since you get two colors. I also use them to count chains in crochet, like I mark every 20th chain in a long row so I don't have to recount them individually when I'm starting an afghan or other big project. I have never broken one, they come in different sizes, everything but the price is fabulous. A bit more expensive, but worth it in the long run. Don't forget to store unused ones opened to give them a &quot;rest&quot;, or the lock won't work as well.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2017-09-27</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2017-09-27" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="54388387"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Clover Locking Stitch Marker" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">dangerouscereal</span> from <span itemprop="name">Great for crochet</span> <span itemprop="description">These are a must when crocheting in the round, and are a lifesaver for marking rows and using as a place holder to keep yarn from unraveling when you stop.
