Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful fabric! I purchased this fabric a year ago, for slipcovering. It was a great value. The 10 oz weight meant that it would stand up and be heavy enough for slipcovers. The care instructions indicated dry clean, if I remember correctly, but since it was 100% cotton, I knew it could be washed. It came in a bolt of 25 yards, single cut, which is hat I ordered. I cut it into 5 yard sections so it would fit in my washer. Hot water wash, cold water rinse. I was very disappointed after the first wash and dry….so I repeated for a total of 5 times. The fabric was soft and workable. When I purchased, I wanted a white fabric. This is muslin colored. So I decided to bleach the fabric. My washer is newer so that meant I couldn’t use it. Plan b….filled my bathtub with the tap set for only hot. Also added about 10 gallons of boiling water and a half gallon of bleach. Make sure the fabric is completely submersed, if you choose to do this. I used gloves and moved the fabric around hourly for probably a total of 4-5 hours. Do not use this method if you are on a septic system! Pull the plug and let the fabric lose water for maybe up to 1/2 hours. Use a plastic tub to transport from tub to washer. Wash again, hot/cold, dry. It still smelled of bleach, so I repeated again. So pleased with this fabric. It has a onderful hand now, and I’m almost done with my slip covers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very heavy thick canvas fabric I purchased it for a thicker apron. It is very thick & heavy. I tried to make it softer by washing twice. It would have been nice to have had a better description of the fabric. And only one review. I’m not sure I’ll be able to sew an apron from it. It’s more of a fabric to print or paint on.
