Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t transfer These are some of the worst pens I’ve used. They don’t work at all and are horrible. Tried three separate times and just wasted my time. Bought another to see if it was just the pen and that wasn’t the case. These pens just suck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like Magic! But keep a few things in mind It works well and the first time I saw the ink disappear like with water, it was like magic! With a few pieces, sometimes random blue splotches appear - do not worry, just put some water on a paper towel and wet that specific part. You may have to do that a few times depending on the piece (I think for me some of the ink got stuck under the finished work so it had to be washed out a few times). The tip is medium but if you draw your smaller details slowly, it may let you draw thinner lines. I’ve been using this pen quite a bit and I’m happy with it overall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So useful! I have purchased these pens throughout the years. I'm not any good at drawing, but I can trace a pattern, using a lightbox for heavier materials. Embroider or needlepoint your pattern, then rinse with cool water or dab with a wet cloth to remove the pen marks. Be careful not to get your pattern wet (esp rain or condensation) unless you want to have to redraw your pattern. :) This is NOT a transfer pen, despite the title.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this pen! The name transfer pen is a little confusing, because this doesn't work like Sulky iron-on transfer pens. This is more accurately a water-soluble marker...that works wonderfully! I design PDF embroidery patterns, and this is what I recommend for tracing the motifs onto fabric. After you trace and embroider your design, give it a good rinsing and your good to go!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope. Doesn't work. I bought this transfer pen today and couldn't wait to use it on old iron-on transfers that no long transfer the ink when ironed on. After reading about this pen, I was under the impression that if you drew on the old transfer and placed it on the fabric, the ink would transfer on to the fabric. Kind of like an ink stamp - it makes one good stamp but when pressed again, there will be traces of the stamp. Nope. This pen doesn't work that way. You have to "free hand" it - forget the transfer pattern. If you can draw, great. I can't.
