Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yeah. Don’t buy this. This is the WORST staple gun. Ever. Point blank period. I purchased this to reupholster four chairs. Four chairs. I almost used an entire box of staples. On four chairs. The majority of the staples had to be removed because they would NOT go through the particle board (although it clearly stated it would go through wood on the package). Most of the time they would partially go through or sometimes would get jammed. Every now and then one would go in easily and look like a normal staple. I had to do one chair a day because pulling the trigger took a lot of strength. There is no value for money here. The staples that come with it are thin and very difficult to find. This staple gun will go in the back of my closet and eventually wind up in the trash. Not even donation worthy. Save yourself the time, money and energy by buying a different staple gun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I think it's great! I've had this stapler for over 4 years and it's been really handy for me. I think most people expect too much from this "light" stapler. Get a heavy duty one of you want to do heavy duty things.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I bought this to recover my chairs and the top of the gun started to separate before I even got done with the first chair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I am not happy with this Dritz Home Light Duty Staple Gun. It gets constantly jammed and I have to dig the staples out to continue with a project. I have wasted a half a box of additional staples I bought at the same time just to finish with the project. It's not that I don't know how to use a staple gun. And it should've been fine with the project I was using it for. Don't know if it is worth even sending it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Chair Duty I bought this staple gun despite the fact that I'd read the reviews on it. Yes. It jammed on me and would shoot blanks. It took me almost a whole row of staples to get one kitchen chair bottom recovered. I took the staples out that came with the gun and put in a fresh row from a refill pack you can buy. What a difference. I recovered the remaining 5 kitchen chairs with NO JAMS and only two blank shootings using two new staple rows. So my suggestion is the buy a box of staples and throw away the staples that come with this gun. It really helped me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diappointed This staple gun jammed all the time! I was stapling fabric to plywood and the staples would not go through the wood. It was also difficult to squeeze. Pretty worthless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I did not like this I really didn't like this staple gun. I bought it to make an upholstered headboard. I would staple one piece and it would jam up on the second try. I needed to completely take out the staple closure, pull out the staples, and put them back in again for it to work. And it would happen after almost ever staple. I was able to finish my project, but it was frustrating.
