<span itemprop="description">I love my Fons and Porter Design wall! I use the 3M Command Strip hook hangers to hang from the pre-set grommets. I love the grid on the vinyl side because it shows slightly thru to the flannel side and helps me line up my designs. I knew I could make my own design wall, but never had time... I love that this was INSTANT and ready to use immediately. I left an entire quilt on the wall for almost six months and none of the pieces ever fell. I took it to the a Quilt Retreat recently and again used the Command hooks to temporarily hang it. Everyone LOVED it. Great investment, particularly when purchased using a Joann's coupon.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I did not think this would be much of a help to me as I usually work block by block and a design wall seemed unnecessary. Was I ever wrong!! I am doing a landscape quilt now and have a portrait quilt on the back burner. This design wall lets you place the pieces in an upright position, thus allowing a different view for color comparison, size proportion, texture overload, etc. It is now one of the most important pieces. I use the felt side to place my fabrics and the vinyl side to tape pictures for combinations. Truly remarkable result. Has saved time as well as decreased the work effort. Highly recommend to a beginner or expert. Very helpful .</span>

<span itemprop="description">I finally decided I needed a design wall when I started making jelly roll quilts. They are considerably "scrappier" than my usual quilt, and I needed a way to arrange the blocks besides using the dining room table. This design wall was a great price and works wonderfully! I was afraid I wouldn't have enough wall space but I hung it behind the door to the sewing/guest room. I only used hooks for 4 of the 7 grommets and it works fine. I only wish there was a way to ion it. I'm hesitant to do so with the vinyl backing. Hopefully time and gravity will work out the wrinkels. Right now it is holding an enitre twin size quilt top with no problems ast all!</span>

<span itemprop="description">The concept of this design wall is good, but the quality is quite poor. The fuzzy side is so sparse, its hard to believe its described as flannel; the vinyl backing is cheap and thin with a strong chemical smell. Do yourself a favor and either buy a flannel-backed tablecloth from your local discount store or a used flannel sheet from a thrift store. Then buy a Dritz grommet tool along with some grommets and make your own holes to hang it by and youll have a much better quality item and a decent design wall for less than one fourth the price of the F&P item. (Thats what I plan on doing.) You wont have to worry about the quality or the chemical smell. In the end youll pat yourself on the back and count yourself wise.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Like my title states, I am very disappointed in the quality of my F & P Instant Design wall. The grommets have all fallen out and the material around them is ripped. I really expected better quality from F & P. I have used this for my quilt class and it has only been hanging on the wall for about 2-3 quilts. Sorry ladies but I am not happy w/your product. I hope the other products you have your name on are of better quality than this. I will be making one out of flannel in the future.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Great features include grids for alignment ease, large gromets to hang by. Unfortunately, the construction in poor, the gromets are so large they pull out of the mat with first use. Reinforced button holes to accept shower curtain hooks would have been better. Small blocks adhere well, but medium to large fall off with the slightest movement. Flannel backed table cloth from a dollar store, with added buttonholes would be far superior and much less expensive. I purchased this product at 50% off and still paid too much.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a wonderful product! With my small sewing space, I need to be as efficient as possible. I love that I can move my cut pieces to the design wall and out of my way. It's great to be able to step back and see how the design will look, and then make any changes before sewing together. I liked this so much that I bought another one and stitched them together. This covered my whole wall. Now I can have a large project or several ones going at once. Awhile ago, I completed a 42" quilt and needed a place to store it while preparing a place for display. I just stuck it up on the design wall and it held just fine for days, until I took it off. Now that I have this product, I don't know how I did without it!</span>

<span itemprop="description">It does have grommets across the top for hanging but the piece is not square, so if you put nails up in a straight line, it will hang weird. The 3M picture hangers do work fairly well to keep it up. The size is rather small as well, not quite large enough to put up a whole throw size quilt at one time. Spend a little more and buy backing-sized flannel</span>
