I have been using this graph paper to draw out quilt blocks for most of my quilting life which is at least 40 years. There weren't a lot of quilt products at first but I have continued to find this is one item that never becomes obsolete. If you draw out your block and decide which shapes you want light, medium, or dark, you can then count them, add each color separately, and figure out how much of each you need for a single block. Multiply be how many blocks you want to make and you then will know how much fabric you need.

Very nice graph paper
I’m very happy with this purchase! The 12 x 12-inch size is large enough so I can draw out quilt blocks to scale and easily figure my seam allowances. I love the darker markings every inch as that makes it so much easier to count. The paper is also very good quality, not flimsy.
