Great valueGreat value for the price: untreated 100% wool yarn. No big tangles in the skein that I've encountered (in apprx 4 skeins so far), and the color is great (big fan of the neutrals, although I also would not say more to more colors). Of course, like all wool yarn, a bit scratchy, and I wouldn't wear directly on the skin if you've had wool sensitivities in the past.

Soft, beautiful drapeUsing this yarn with a 6.5mm hook for a scarf gives it a beautiful drape. The yarn is easy to work with, very soft and smooth, and the larger skein means less time spent weaving in ends.

very loosely twinedI bought this yarn for leg warmers. It is very loosely twined and makes it super challenging to make sure that each strand is in the right place. The wool also does not feel smooth and soft. Not worth the money and not repurchasing it. And super slow shipping.

Order 10099771765 - fulfillment is unacceptableI placed this on-line order on 12/04/23 with delivery to my home. As of today, 12/14/2023, my order is “processing” yet even though the merchandise is available. I’m incredibly disappointed in Joann’s and its shipping service.

Heather Brown ideal for setting off my natural dye colotsRecently I had a natural dye demo for a colonial history class where I dyed wool with flowers. Afterwards I wove the wool into squares and made a sampler for the teacher. Heather brown set the other colors off very well.

Beautiful YarnI bought this yarn to make an amigurumi crochet sheep, and I love the natural colors and really the yarn as a whole. (I used the colors Natural and Nature's Brown.) It is sturdy and high quality, and it's just beautiful! The yarn is also easy to pull out of the center and I have found no knots at all. Overall it's pleasant to work with, very thankful!

Great wool in a large quantityI just started this a few days ago, first time using this yarn and I’m absolutely hooked. Commercially available, affordable and great quality. I’m a lifer. In my project I’m using a US6 to create a dense fabric and it’s lovely!
