Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, strong thread! Beautiful, strong thread! I used it as the top thread for quilting, and it never once broke or tangled. I have not tried it in the bobbin. I will definitely be trying other shades in this high-quality metallic thread!

Have owned Madeira Metallics along with their other threads, but was always afraid to use them because of all the tales sewing friends told me. Well, I just proved all of them wrong! I'm making a bed runner for an auction donation and decided to spiff it up by trying a stitching in the ditch design using the gold 3, and I can't believe how easy it is to use, and comes out beautiful without any hassles! I love it and hope everyone tries it for a change for a trim design.
