Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not my kind of Party I loved the colors on the website, enough so to purchase four different types. It's a soft yarn, yes, and I'd wanted it for scarves, thinking it would be thick enough. Unfortunately, the twist (as others have mentioned) is nonexistent; this requires a tight tension and a fairly simple stitch. I've found a size 6 knitting needle works much better than the suggested 7. So, looks like I'm forced to scrap my original plan and make hats instead. Not thrilled about that. Would not buy this again.

From the first stitch it was horrible to work with. It was constantly split and make the work look terrible. Thankful for Joann's return policy b/c I took it all back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite These make gorgeous beanies and amigurumi, the yarn is on the thicker side of a standard weight 4 yarn but very soft and easy to work with. The color variation can’t be beat, I hope this is a regular line we see in store permanently.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Colors! The “Sugar Rush” yarn has a beautiful color scheme with a soft and light weight texture. Easy to work with but the skeins are smaller than i expected so i recommended buying multiple skeins in advance for medium to large projects.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty yarn, combines nicely with Heartland I found this yarn to be very pretty and easy to crochet. I feel it's a perfect 3 weight rather than a 4. (That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.) I bought Jelly Bean, used it double with Lion Brand Heartland in Lassen Volcanic (pink), and treated the two together as a 5 weight, using an 8 mm hook, to make an afghan with alternating double crochet and half double crochet rows. It turned out very pretty -- quite subtle and interestingly complex in color, with a cottony feel. I'm going to try the same thing with the color Bubble Tea and am pondering what Heartland color to pair that with. : )
